THE HOTEL

The hotel rooms have one of the most different layouts we have ever seen! When you open the door you are faced with a large wooden panel that divides the room into two areas: the bathroom and the sleeping area. On one side, we have separate shower and bathroom cabins, which is very interesting for those friends who are sharing a room.

The bathtub is open to the bedroom, which can either bring an air of romance to a couple in love, or be practical when bathing children. Behind this panel is the bed, facing the balcony that can overlook the hotel’s garden or the tropical Caribbean rainforest.

GASTRONOMY

The hotel offers several thematic restaurant options, in addition to the international buffet, which is one of the team’s favorites: very varied, fresh food and with an incredible breakfast. All six à la carte restaurants have vegetarian and gluten free options.

The Bordeaux restaurant – specializing in French cuisine, is for adults only and provides a beautiful gastronomic experience. We spent about two hours in the restaurant, enjoying each appetizer, salad, soup, main course and a delicious crème brûlée for dessert. And, when we informed the waiter that we had vegetarians at the table, he kindly offered to ask the chef to prepare a menu with suitable dishes. And everything was delicious!

Also worth noting is the hotel’s bar service, premium and international drinks are also part of the all-inclusive and both couples and guests can take advantage of this service in any of the five hotel bars: at the swimming pool and beach, at the wet bar, at the hotel’s nightclub, or in the beautiful lobby bar! You can choose between Caribbean drinks, whiskey, wine, beer or ask the bartender to prepare your favorite drink.

WEDDING AT THE DREAMS RIVIERA HOTEL

Regarding the scenarios for your big day, the only difficulty with Dreams Riviera is choosing your favorite! Be it an elopement wedding, mini wedding or a wedding for 100 guests or more, the hotel has beautiful areas for all wedding styles and number of guests.

Brazilians who are getting married in the Caribbean usually prefer outdoor ceremonies.

If the couple is keen to have their toes in the sand, the beach wedding is always an option, but the highlight for the wedding ceremony is the incredible straw gazebo, whose structure represents a diamond ring! It is so striking that almost no additional decoration is required.

There are several options for setting up dinner, regardless of the number of guests: we can continue with the celebration on the beach, or set up a beautiful party by the swimming pool and also on a charming deck by the sea.

However, my favorite option is the terrace above the Seaside Grill and Oceana restaurants, very close to the beach, in a very private area. This terrace can also be used for ceremonies, and is especially charming for mini weddings.

As the hotel is further away from the city, in any of these areas we have a beautiful moonlight to add the finishing touch!

In the hotel, it is possible to make the civil wedding and also the symbolic ceremony, which ends up being the most sought after.

WEDDING PACKAGES

At Dreams Riviera, as in most chain hotels, the packages are somewhat standardized: they are packages for 10 or 20 guests, include only the ceremony (suitable for elopement weddings) or ceremony, cocktail and dinner; each package has an option different from the menu and all include a basic setting, with no decoration.
